Dr Amar Katranji, DDS, MS
Dr. Katranji received all his degrees from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, receiving a B.A. in English, a D.D.S., and an M.S. in Periodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Dean’s Faculty at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Department of Periodontics. Dr. Katranji is well published in periodontal and implant journals as well as lectures on implant-related topics. He has been involved in the development of new bone grafting materials that makes dental implant placement possible in more complex situations. He is a past recipient of the Ramfjord Award for Excellence from the University of Michigan, the Leadership Award from the Michigan College of Dentists, and he was a finalist for the Lazzara Implant Fellowship given by the American Academy of Periodontology. He practices Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Ann Arbor with Dr. Misch, as well as in Southfield.
