Appendages on implants in a fixated world
SYNOPSIS
Replacing teeth for people who have destroyed their natural dentition is an under-estimated, complex challenge in dentistry. This talk will explore the difficulties and propose alternative treatment strategies to the popular, cookie-cutter approaches. Is there a better way to do what we do? Which dental implant abutments work best when a removable prosthesis is required? Is there a connection between breast implants and the oral cavity? Is all-on-4 good for our patients? Is photography good for our patients? All these questions (and more) may be answered for clinicians who like to explore the grey areas of our profession.
